Blind Dating

Blind dates can be really scary especially if you get there and the guy is soooo hideous he might actually blind you! Well, let's hope that that is not the case for any of us. I might be going on a blind date real soon.

I have been set up on lots of blind dates. Should I go should I not go... well, I say yes, go for it, but be smart. Let's go over some ground rules.

One, you should pick the location of the first meet. Somewhere familiar to you and close to home and a social venue. Never pick a place that is secluded and lonely.

Two, try to have already established direct communication prior to the actual first meet. Via emails, texting or social networks, all will work. This relieves alot of the stress if you have some basic info and have hopefully already exchanged photos.

Three, be prepared for the worse scenarios ladies. Always have plenty of cash to be able to make an escape in case he is a total creep. Watch for things like him not tipping waitress or waiter, you do not want to be embarrassed if it's a place that you frequently visit. Manners, let's hope he has some!

Four, set your boundaries, and be prepared in case he tries to cross them! I have no problem with hitting a man if he comes into my personal space without permission..."back up fool"

Five, stay in control of the situation as a whole. Decide when, where and what time the date will start and especially decide what time the date will end. Be sure to be a smart lady and stay on top of things, conversation, make sure you are paying attention, do not think he is not watching your every move, he totally is.

What does one wear on a blind date??? Well, besides a beautiful smile(nobody wants to date the cranky chick) dress sexy but not slutty, there is a HUGE difference. Be smart when speaking but not arrogant. Be humorous but not stupid funny as in cracking jokes at the expense of someone else, big no no!

Now last but not least be comfortable, make sure you like how you look and feel. Don't be nervous just be you and remember... you do have ESCAPE money ready in your pocket if you need it!
