What's Your #?

Ok... now is it just me, or is the answer to this question no ones business but mine?

The question "what is your #?" refers to the number of lovers a person has had. Fool is the man that uses this question as a conversation piece!

I understand if down the line, once you are in a "relationship"... then... maybe, if you feel you are ok with it, then go ahead and have this conversation. Otherwise, this is a piece of knowledge that should remain in your vault... forever!

Not only do I feel that this question should not be asked of a woman, but vise versa as well. Ladies do not... I repeat, do not ask a man what his number is unless you are prepared for what the answer might or might not be. The wrong answer might give you a heart attack... imagine if his list includes a few family members... male & female!!!

I feel this question is unnecessary and just causes problems for couples. This question causes judgement. If the number is in the double digits then you assume they are a "promiscuous booty chaser". If the number is too low then you assume they are inexperienced or bad in bed, and the word has gotten out!

The correct question that needs to be asked is "what is your sexual medical history?" aka "are you clean?". Do not be afraid to ask for paper work either. This is 2012. Be smart & be safe.

As a woman, we are used to going to see the doctor at least annually for our "lady visits" in which they check us from head to toe, and we are sure we are 100%. Well, for a man things work differently. They are not really required to visit regularly unless something is wrong. So ladies, do not be afraid to ask your guy to go get checked out.

As for the fool that asked you what your sexual # was... well, respond with "how ever many are on my list buddy, you sure are NOT going to be added on to it!".

I hope this helps*

  1. girllllllll. you crack me up! I agree its nobody's business who's/whats been in your area. Man are sneaky and scared to go to the doctor, let me tell you a story of my past relationship (this is before I had my seven kids)Now I dated this super hot Arab he was fit, rich and smart but I had to be sure he didn't have any stds so I asked politely that if he was careful with others partners and if he was clean of any stds. His reply was Im sure! Im clean! so the next day I went to the doctors and got a check up, yes from head to toes and in between too! I got my results. I decided to pay him a visit
