Etiquette 101. I refuse to believe that things have changed so damn much that etiquette has gone right out the door. But seriously some of the things I have witnessed while dating have blown me away.
Here are some do's & dont's...
Do make sure you look your best.
Do make sure you smell great.
Do make sure your breath is fresh.
Do make sure your car is clean.
Do tip and treat waiters, waitresses, valet and bar tenders with courtesy and respect.
Do open doors for your date.
Do valet the damn car!!! We do not appreciate walking two blocks in 5 inch heels in the freezing cold!!!
Do NOT arrive late for the date, unless there has been an emergency.
Do NOT stare at another woman while on a date!
Do NOT take your date to the "hood" unless she has been warned.
Do NOT get drunk on a date.
Do NOT drink and drive.
Do NOT talk about your EX.
Do NOT ever chew with your mouth open,I do not want to see your food or hear you eat and smack your lips together!!! (This one goes out to both men and woman.) To hear you eat is one of the most unattractive and disturbing sounds in existence... need I say more?
Do NOT ever tell me to leave my purse behind because "I wont be needing it"... HUH? First of all, I wasn't going to pay. Second, it is part of my outfit?!?! duh.
