I was just told of a first date disaster story where the guy tells the girl "I'll be right back" and he actually left her at the restaurant and went home!
This he says, was because she lied and over the internet pretended to be something she physically was not.
Also, my co worker drove her then husband to the suburbs to a fancy restaurant, ordered expensive food, then pretended to go to restroom and left him there with no car and to pay the bill. They are divorced now, of course.
So, I've realized this is very common. I haven't had the pleasure of this opportunity...yet. I figure if I got myself into this bad date, it's partly my fault. So you either cut the date short politely or still have a great time chatting, might even make a new friend.
But... if it's an asshole, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend or other that deserves this treatment... take it further than leaving them stranded at the restaurant. Leave their ass in the Forest Preserves!!!
